What I do

I work with CEOs, association leaders and senior teams who operate under public scrutiny. My work sits at the intersection of public affairs, media, reputation and leadership — helping clients decide what matters, what does not and how to respond when the pressure is the highest.

I don’t chase headlines or hot takes. I focus on judgement, long-term reputation and strategic restraint.

I’ve spent more than 25 years working at the intersection of politics, media and public affairs — advising leaders, shaping narratives and helping organizations navigate moments that define reputation. I bring long memory to short news cycles and help clients see patterns before they become problems.

My public work — through writing and conversation — reflects how I think. My private work applies judgement when decisions matter most.

  • "I've worked closely with Lisa for over ten years. There is no one I trust more to counsel me through crises, high-profile communications situations and even daily operations. Her background working in fast-paced and high-stress environments has given her a calm approach that few could match. I seek her advice on major decisions and mundane situations equally, and she's never been wrong. She is a co-worker, a confident, and a friend. My office, my career, and my life are all better for knowing Lisa."
